What Counts as a Dental Emergency?

Not sure if your situation qualifies as an emergency? If you’re in pain, have suffered trauma to your teeth or mouth, or have a dental issue that is worsening rapidly — don’t wait. Contact Bloom Dental Aesthetic immediately.

Common dental emergencies we treat:

  • Severe toothache or abscess

  • Broken, chipped, or knocked-out teeth

What to do while you wait:

For a knocked-out tooth, keep it moist — either in milk or held gently between your cheek and gum — and get to us as quickly as possible. The faster we can act, the better the outcome. For severe pain or swelling, over-the-counter ibuprofen can help manage discomfort until we see you. For a lost crown or filling, dental wax or sugar-free chewing gum can temporarily cover the exposed area.
